PARTY REQUIREMENTS
The client shall provide a suitable sound system with Microphone and preferably with a CD player (unless otherwise agreed upon).
The client also provides the prizes for the games. Ideally, for a party with about 30 children, we suggest that 10 to 15 major prizes and 30 minor prizes be provided. This gives us a chance to make sure that all the children receive something just by joining the games.
GAMES
Common party games are played unless there are specific games that you prefer. Below are the usual games and a brief description of each.
Children’s Games
- Treasure Hunt – Stickers of stars are hidden within the venue. The children look for them in exchange for prizes (1 Star = 1 Prize)
- The boat is Sinking – The popular game where children organize themselves into groups of various sizes depending on the host’s instructions. Individuals who cannot form a group of the specified size are out of the game. This continues until there is only one winner.
- Longest Coin Line – A group game wherein each group is given one minute to gather coins and place them on the floor to form a line of coins. The team with the longest line, wins.
- Pass The Ball – The children form a circle and pass the ball around while the music plays. Once the music stops, whoever has the ball is considered out of the game. This continues until there is only one winner.
- Bring Me – Prizes are awarded to children and adults who are able to bring the items asked of them.
Adult Games
- Acting Game – Participants are asked to greet in three different ways, Happy, Sad, and Angry. The audience decides who the best actor/actress is at the end of the game.
- Basketball – Two groups of parents compete in a game very similar to “Simon Says”.
- Butt Spelling – Usually a popular game for the daddies to participate in, as they spell certain words at the same time.
